VSV 2007 Workshop was held November 16, 17, 18 with amazing guest clinicians Linda Fiore, Eric Madsen and Domenick Fiore at Faith United Methodist Church in South Burlington.
VSV’s first National Workshop was held in October 2004 at Williston Central School, and featured an impressive array of clinicians, including Sandy Reuning, Edmund Sprunger, Nancy Lokken, Stevie Sandven, Joanne Bath and Allen Lieb.
In November of 2005, also at WCS, we had a more intimate workshop with Nancy Lokken and Carrie Reuning-Hummel. We also had wonderful electives of fiddling and improvisation with Laura Markowitz, orchestra with Ace Ali, and singing, movement and music adventures with Susan Reit de Salas.
Our 3rd workshop in November 2006 featured Ed Kreitman, Tom Wermuth and Carrie Reuning-Hummel. Parents were treated to incredible half-day sessions with Ed and Carrie. A few of the most advanced high school students were specially selected to perform in a Master Class for Tom Wermuth, and teachers were nurtured each day with much observation and conversation.
We feel lucky at VSV to be able to offer these incredible experiences to our students and our community and we hope, with your support, that we will be able to continue these wonderful opportunities.
